Submit A Sample For Testing
For improved probability of a products quality, sampling technique is very important. According to Bruce Malone of Trilogy Labs, 75% of test errors occur at the collections of the samples. 15.9 % occur in the lab and 8.6% are from the test procedure.*
The sample's appearance may be misleading. A mold-free sample may actually contain toxins that may affect animals' health. Conversely, a moldy sample may not necessarily contain harmful toxins. To properly sample, one should take portions of the sample from at least three separate areas within the lot. MLF Biotech will then take that combined sampling and take three smaller samples from various areas of the sample. We then process it and take a small sample from the processed product to run our test. As you can see, that we are sampling a very small representation from your lot. We encourage customers to establish procedures for their employees to take proper samplings so a greater likelihood of accurate results can be reported.
Before conducting a test on a submitted sample, MLF Biotech must have a completed credit application on file from your company. If this is the first time you are ordering a test, please fill out our credit application and fax to 574-453-4841. Please note that the processing of your credit application may take up to two weeks. |
